The Park Models: The standard in the outdoor recreation industry, the park models are modest but accommodating. These units have a floor plan a lot like a camping trailer with a small deck and fire pit. The Park Models can accommodate 4-8 persons. These units are located all throughout the resort so you can select one in an area that suits you best, near the pool, comfort station, clubhouse, or more remote areas.

The Chalets: These units are located on a shady tree lined ledge along a small stream just off one of our most popular hiking trails. These units feature two bedrooms and a spacious open kitchen/dining/living area. The front deck overlooks the stream which is close enough for you to enjoy that peaceful sound of water tumbling gently over the sandstones.

The Log Cabins: One of our newest accommodations, the log cabin units send you back in time to when the Ohio woodlands were speckled with rustic and original log cabins. Fortunately, these cabins have all the conveniences of home with running water, electric and indoor restrooms! The “Logs” snugly sleep 6-8 persons and feature a front porch swing for enjoying the sunsets and watching the campfire from. Located near the Chapel and amphitheater, the log units are quite popular just for their genuine log cabin look.

The House Cabins: These units are more like a home than a get- away cabin. Plenty of space is the main feature in addition to being well equipped (one of these units has a jet tub). The “house” units are centrally located on the resort property with easy access to our Rocky Fork Recreation Center which features pizza, subs, camp supplies, and refreshments as well as several special activity venues including horseback riding and pony rides to pedal boats, paintball, and putt-putt. These units can accommodate anywhere from 4-8 persons.

Accommodations at Grand Haven Resort are vast and well serving as listed below. Our cabins in this beautifully wooded setting range from basic style to luxury models and for those who like to camp we are also a premier Ohio camping destination.
Nestled in the rolling hills of Northern Guernsey County in
southeast Ohio, only two miles from the beautiful Salt Fork State Park and
its’ 3,000 acre lake, is one of the largest private resorts in the state of
Ohio. Grand Haven Resort sits on 850 acres, mostly wooded, with hiking, ATV
and horseback riding trails throughout.
Grand Haven Resort certainly has enough sites for you; 265 regular sites of
all kinds, large and small. A resort this size requires staff and we’ve got
them, inconspicuously looking after our many guests, insuring safety, privacy
and fun. A hidden treasure is the primitive
area, consisting of 40 terraced sites in the woods, water very close and comfort
station only one long block away. Be sure to pack your camera with your tent;
squirrels, deer, raccoons, possums, birds of all kinds (yes, even a noisy
woodpecker once in a while) will be inspecting the tent area and, if you have
sharp eyes, you’ll see them all.
Being a year round vacation destination means even when the weather turns a little cold or if it just keeps raining your special time is well taken care of with our large indoor facilities.
Start your day as a family, do your own things throughout the day, enjoy a
campfire or our comfortable clubhouse together in the evening. We are open 365 days per year.
